CEFTRIXONE

Indication:
Ceftriaxone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, septicemia, meningitis, skin infections, and joint or bone infections in both humans and animals.

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults: 1–2 g once daily by IM or IV injection (up to 4 g/day for severe cases).

• Animals (Veterinary use): 10–20 mg per kg body weight by IM or IV route daily for 3–5 days.
