DOLAXIN

Indication (General): Treatment and metaphylaxis (prevention) of bacterial respiratory disease (e.g., Bovine/Swine Respiratory Disease – BRD/SRD) in cattle and pigs, and often used for infectious foot rot in sheep. It targets common bacterial pathogens like Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Mycoplasma species.

Usage (Route of Administration): Typically administered as a single subcutaneous (SC) injection in cattle and sheep, and intramuscular (IM) injection in pigs.

Dosage: The dose is usually a single injection at a rate of 2.5 mg/kg body weight (BW). This often translates to a specific volume per 40 kg or 100 kg of body weight, depending on the concentration.
